The members of C-SUCSeS from 7 SAARC countries have visited Budhanilkantha Municipality, बूढानिलकण्ठ नगर कार्यपालिकाको कार्यालय for exchanging Knowledge and Capacity Building of SAARC Member States on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA).

Mayor Mitharam Adhikari along with Deputy Mayor Anita Lama and Chief Administrative Officer Tulsi Ram Aryal welcomed the distinguished guests from different SAARC nations.

Deputy Mayor Anita Lama provided a brief statistics about the agriculture sector of the Municipality whereas mayor Mitharam Adhikari shared the challenges and possibilities of agriculture here in Budhanilkantha.

The main objectives of the visit were to promote and enhance regional cooperation through the exchange of CSA knowledge and sharing of experiences among the member states; expose policymakers, researchers, and extension agents to the CSA policies, strategies, and practices of Nepal and to build the capacity of stakeholder responsible for scaling up CSA technologies in their respective countries to achieve the intended objectives of the project.
